Support with coverage, costs, and care at HEMYS.
As a parent, managing care also means managing costs. At HEMYS, we work with families to clearly explain coverage, benefits, and available options from the start. Many insurance plans include coverage for HEMYS therapy, and our team helps coordinate the details so nothing feels confusing or overwhelming. When applicable, we can also discuss need-based financial support. Our goal is to support your child and your family with clarity and consistency at every stage of care.
We accept most insurance providers.
Families trust HEMYS therapy
See what HEMYS families have to say:
HEMYS therapy has truly changed our son’s life. He told us himself that he learned how to make friends and finally enjoys school. The therapists were kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with our entire family. They didn’t just support our child, they supported us as parents too. It was a team effort, and one that made a real difference. We’re deeply grateful for the care and guidance we received.
- — Sarah M.
We’ve had an amazing experience with HEMYS. Every therapist we’ve worked with has been warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Our son loves going each day and feels comfortable with his therapists, which means everything to us. Knowing he’s in good hands gives us real peace of mind. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the HEMYS community.
- — Daniel R.
From the very beginning, HEMYS supported our family beyond just therapy. They helped guide us through assessments, daily updates, and even insurance questions, which can be overwhelming. We’ve seen meaningful progress in our child, and the dedication of the therapists truly stands out. The entire team consistently goes above and beyond.
- — Priya K.
HEMYS has been a blessing for our family. Our son started therapy here after his autism diagnosis, and today he’s graduating and heading to first grade. He loved coming every day and always felt supported. As parents, we felt supported too. Saying goodbye was emotional because this place became such an important part of our lives.

Early support matters. HEMYS works to reduce delays so children can begin therapy as soon as possible. Our team helps families take the next step without unnecessary waiting, so care can start when it matters most.
Diagnostic support
Finding answers can feel overwhelming. If your child is showing early signs of autism, our team can help guide you through the evaluation process and connect you with the right next steps.
Insurance support made clear
Navigating insurance shouldn’t be another source of stress. We work with many major plans, help families understand coverage, and assist with paperwork. When available, we can also discuss options for out-of-pocket support.
Evidence-based ABA therapy
HEMYS therapy is grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), using proven behavioral principles and positive reinforcement to help children develop new skills and strengthen everyday functioning. Our approach is informed by decades of research and clinical best practices.
Coordinated, collaborative care
When children receive support from multiple providers, consistency matters. HEMYS collaborates with speech, occupational, feeding, and physical therapists to support care coordination and reduce unnecessary transitions, helping children learn in familiar environments.
Family guidance and involvement
Parents and caregivers are essential partners in progress. Every HEMYS care plan includes regular Family Guidance sessions led by a BCBA, offering practical strategies that families can use both during therapy and at home.
Individualized, one-on-one support
Each child works with a dedicated care team that may include Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs®) and Registered Behavior Technicians® (RBTs®). Goals are personalized, progress is monitored closely, and care is delivered through consistent, compassionate one-on-one support.
School readiness and transition support
Center-based HEMYS therapy helps children build foundational skills for school, including communication, social interaction, and self-regulation. For school-age children, additional transition support helps bridge therapy goals with classroom expectations.

How can ABA therapy support my child?
Every child develops in their own way, and ABA therapy is designed to be flexible and responsive to those differences. At HEMYS, therapy is personalized around each child’s strengths, challenges, and family priorities, with the goal of supporting skills that matter in everyday life.
Through evidence-based ABA practices, children may build stronger communication, improve attention and learning readiness, develop safer and more effective ways to express their needs, and strengthen social interaction with peers and caregivers. Therapy can also support independence in daily routines and help children apply new skills across home, school, and community settings.
Because progress looks different for every child, goals are reviewed regularly and adjusted as your child grows. HEMYS works closely with families to ensure therapy remains meaningful, supportive, and aligned with each child’s development over time.
Can ABA therapy be done after school or on weekends?
Scheduling options for ABA therapy can vary based on a child’s needs, availability, and service model. At HEMYS, we work with families to explore therapy schedules that fit as well as possible around school and daily routines. In some cases, therapy sessions may be arranged outside of traditional school hours, depending on clinical recommendations and provider availability. During the intake process, our team will discuss scheduling preferences and help determine what options may be available for your child.
What are individualized goals in ABA therapy?
Individualized goals in ABA therapy are specific, measurable objectives created for each child based on their unique strengths, needs, and family priorities. At HEMYS, Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs®) work closely with families to assess current skills, identify meaningful areas for growth, and design goals that can be tracked and adjusted over time.
Examples of individualized goals may include:
- Improving communication skills, such as increasing the use of words, gestures, or communication devices to express needs
- Strengthening social interaction by initiating or responding to peers during play or structured activities
- Building independence through daily routines like handwashing, dressing, or cleaning up
- Supporting learning readiness by following instructions, attending to tasks, or transitioning between activities
- Expanding understanding by identifying familiar objects, people, or concepts in everyday environments
